I got canned today - ask me anything
Well, asked to tender my resignation. lol

It is kind of funny to me in a weird sick way. I'm so glad that the constant debating is over.

Now I can move forward.

2. To me, it was that I was 2.5 hours late last month
I called in saying I had to do something and nothing was really going on, but I was in fact late.

oops.

There are rumors of a "list" though hehe. I can only imagine.

I really have no idea what it means. lol

I think that is a freaky nice way of saying I'm fired.

Sadly, it isn't like I'd use them as a reference though. I'm just a n00b to office type stuff. I'm just an Ironworker/Carpenter in office dude clothes.

7. To me that sounds like no unemployment because you "quit."
Unless a resignation rather than being fired will be better for your career later, I can't see any advantage to it.

I just volunteered for 2+ years, then they started paying me. Hmm.

It was just a matter of time. . . for going on a year.

I chose not to "get out of there" because it became a matter of principle.

Now, I wonder if I should volunteer there again. I feel I was really reaching the community in spite of my head-butting contests with *cough* blood-thirsty *cough* board members.

I made a difference :D

I worked at a crack motel when they decided to get rid of me because my lover at the time was being a jerk.They bought me out though, and I was able to move on.They were paying me under the table and I demanded my unemployment. I got it.
