Maybe it's me but I think the world FUCK is way over used

I was on the bus today and the guy sitting behind me was on the cell phone, holding a conversation at a slightly below normal voice tone and I swear every other word he said was "FUCK". And the thing is, it wasn't like he was angry or badmouthing someone - he just used the word "FUCK" to describe everything. "I'm going to grab some fucking coffee", "I'm going to be fucking late for work", "Did you drop the fucking kid off at childcare"

Seriously - why do we use "FUCK" so much?

to me, it is no biggie. Most of us here are adults, and can use any language we like as long as it isn't offensive. I guess the word could offend some but for no real reason. It doesn't have hurtful connotations. Unless you call someone a stupid fuck, then I guess it will be deleted.

behavior. Seems a little farfetched to me. If anything, I think the real offensive words aren't spoken as much. It is just a word. And by that I don't mean just a word like the "n" or the other "f" word. It is a word that can mean many different things. That is all there is to it.

no I don't use it a whole lot, especially in front of people I don't know. But we give words too much credit. They can be used to hurt people, and I won't get behind that, but this word in particular has so many uses. I don't think it reflects badly on our culture. There are soooo many more things that do that this word is laughable. Sure there are better words to use. If anything, it signifies laziness which surely can reflect badly on our culture, but that is as far as I am willing to believe it makes us bad people for its usage. Teabaggers and bleeding hearts use the word, so that doesn't fly.
