This is very funny... at the same time, it's more than a LITTLE sad.

1. My sister thinks her cats are "blowing her eye kisses" when they do that.
I countered that maybe the cat is trying to "wish" her away.

It's not nice when she tells me to go fook myself.

2. NoName was VERY expressive with her eyes...

...and we blinked back and forth often and sometimes for LONG conversations, although
I think she understood better than I what was actually being said.
.
Talked to a friend who had trained big jungle cats for shows who said that they DO
communicate with their eyes -- and closing their eyes for a L-O-N-G blink indicates
great trust in you.
.
Another display of ultimate trust was when she (what I called) "gave me belly".

3. That's what I read somewhere as well, that the looong blink
indicates trust.

Well, here I am with my morning coffee and cat Mosche. He is sitting in the chair next to me as always, with his paw on my arm. Staring. I just gave him my most loving look and blink, scratched him behind the ears and rubbed his chin. And he stares.

Hold it, hold it! I think he just blinked! Just a tiny little bit, but he did!
