So after a long search I finally GOT A JOB!!!
I accepted a position at Enterprise Rent A Car. I know I know I have heard horror stories but I'm going to go into it positively and try to get the most out of it. Who knows I may really enjoy it and do very well. I was also trying to get a job at Regions bank but everytime they would decide to hire me and I would go through all the background checks and what not they would turn around and promote some one from within so they wouldn't have to take the time to train me, then when I was about to be hired for another position they called me and said they had to delay the decision and formal stuff for an undisclosed time frame due to something they could not tell me. Wow what a run-on sentence. But I just felt that given all the shit they put me through I really didn't trust them to actually give me a job even if they said they would and if they actually did, I could see them saying "oh, we actually don't need this many people at this branch sorry." Enterprise was very impressed with me and wanted me so I said yes. I can't wait for ever, and can't turn down something that could end up being great just to wait on a job that had slightly better hours.

So I took the job that paid more, wanted me more and had a better path of advancement. I know the first year or so are going to be tough and long but, I feel that given my background in sales etc. I'll do much better in that kind of environment.

Also after accepting the position I went and bought a new car. My current car a 99 VW Jetta is about to die, so many problems. Decided not to trade it in instead I will donate it to charity. The I got is one I have wanted for some time and I will reveal what it is in another post when I get some pics and stuff.

1. Congrats!
At least the new car will give you lots of incentive to make the new job work. Sounds like you are going into it with the will to make it work. :hi:

2. Thanks!
I am trying to go at it in the best way. I feel that with anything you get what you expect for the most part. If you think something will suck and bee awful then it probably will be, if you think it will be great but with challenges then it will be. At least that is what I am hoping. I am trying out this new optimism thing.

4. Congrats! I'm glad you're excited and
have put translated your hope and optimism into buying a new car. Life is so often what you make of it. I've always had a good experience with Enterprise, so I hope you'll find working there really good, too. Good luck and enjoy your new car, too!
