So I finally saw (and enjoyed) "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." But one thing has been bugging
me and that is how on earth did they make Cate and Brad look so young!? I mean, I can understand being able to age actors, but to make them young again? Unreal!

2. Haven't seen the movie, but I read the Fitzgerald short story.
Funny, and unexpectedly moving at the end.

3. CGI
At first I thought they used footage from an earlier movie of his. But someone at church told me it was all CGI. Of course religion is all one big lie, so I'm a fool to get my theories about movies from there. But then again, I'm happy being a fool.

4. The movie resulted in much contemplative thought...
on my part. Certainly a superior movie in terms of concept.

6. David Fincher used the Contour camera system developed by an ex-Apple engineer.
Story here:

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/31/technology/31motion.html

It basically captures the actor's entire face for digital manipulation, instead of just a number of points.

Disney is working on something similar.

http://digitalcontentproducer.com/dcc/revfeat/video_creating_virtual_performers/

Once an actor's face has been digitized it's just a matter of taking away things like wrinkles, spots, etc.
To de-age someone even farther back you would have to digitally change the shape of their face and eye spacing.

8. Let me guess. You went into the theater last Tuesday?
Enjoyable, yes, but looooooooong. Were the film editors out on strike or something?
