WhyJigsaw Puzzels are the answer,,,.
Edited on Wed Apr-21-10 01:05 PM by Stuart G
1. They are cheap
2. They are entertaining
3. Two or three people can work on a project together and they can feel some sence of participation.
4. People doing these puzzels actually talk to each other about the project...while doing it
5. They are attractive
6. When finished, you can put this stuff on it, glossy stuff, and put the finished project up on a wall.."Hey...remember when we worked on that"
7. You can listen to music while doing them
8. They are colorfull
9. You can determine how difficult the puzzel is. small ones..can be finished in a couple of hours, to massive complicated ones that take days, months.
10. The BEST PUZZELS ARE MADE RIGHT HERE IN THE GOOD OLD U.S.A.

1. The pieces would be all over the place with a 19 month old running the house.

2. Good Point...but..then that 19 month old, is 48 months old..
he/she can learn on some very simple puzzels..for that age..manual dexterity..
Then you can work your way up to more difficult ones..

5. She has puzzles for her age, but the pieces are God knows where.
We will pick up on it soon enough. I do enjoy puzzles, but they are something I always forget about.

3. My middle daughter somehow got a jigsaw puzzle to stay on her ceiling - NOT GLUED!
I still haven't figured out how she got it up there in the first place and she isn't telling. It has stayed for weeks but I'm waiting for it to suddenly change its mind while she's sleeping under it. That should be funny.

6. When things get hot over GD, or just listening to the news..then
I do one of these puzzels..The most important reason why I like them, is they have a calming effect on me. It becomes kinda a quiet time to concentrate just on the pieces. These puzzels really relax me.
