Have you ever noticed that there's an electrical charge in your iPhone ear buds?
Maybe it's the same for iPod ear buds, I don't know. I do know that when I hold the buds close to each other, they are clearly repelling, like two magnets when you try to put the north or south poles together. It seems to me, the conclusion to draw is that there is a charge in each of these buds. Safe bet?

Now I wonder, where is this charge coming from? The screen? Something behind the screen? Do other ear buds exhibit this same electro-magnetic behavior? Is this a negative or positive charge? Does it make a difference to my ears whether it's negative or positive? Or a difference to my brain tissue? Am I going to die? How long do I have to live? Do I have time to get my affairs in order? Do I need to start that novel right now?

:scared:

1. ".. they are clearly repelling, like two magnets .."
this is frightening and deserves investigation. i mean, i know earbuds have magnets in them, but is that really a good reason for them to act like they do? why don't they have better manners? this country is quickly going somewhere (i don't want to say exactly where) in a handbasket, and there doesn't seem to be anything anybody can do about it

4. Why would they do that to us?
Why would they put magnetic objects like that so close to our brains? It's as if they want us to scramble them.
