It's a done deal.

I like shiraz best with steak. The peppery full-bodiedness of the shiraz does it for me. I'll reserve my merlots and pinot noirs for other entrees.

but I think I'm in a phase with the pepper flavors.

Pinot noirs with pork? I dunno. I guess it depends on how it's prepared. Pinot grigio?

I like a sweet, leggy sauterne for dessert after ham.
