a copycat of:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=105&topic_id=9348902&mesg_id=9348902

But still, I'd like to know and I don't think I'm alone in that.

For me, I totally dig this strange young lady:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrO4YZeyl0I

And Bad Romance is the best pop song I have heard in a very long time.

I'm 42 and am determined not to be one of these people who just relistens to the same exact stuff I heard in high school my whole life.

I agree. I'm a Broadway fan and the only time I get to see the Broadway stars is on a trip to a large city, or on the Tony's. It is a treat to see all these stars every week.

I have a radio app, and today in between chores, and classes, just a few hours ago, I listened to the latest prime minister debate on one of the bbc stations. My touch rocks, as do all of apple products and I DON"T care what anyone else thinks. :)

Though this season hasn't been my favorite. My thoughts on last night:

Lee wildly overpraised again. By the sounds of Kara, sounds like the judges and possibly AI want him to win. His voice was not a good fit for the song, and I don't like the tone of his voice anyway.

Aaron out of his element, though didn't expect this 16-year-old to nail a Frank Sinatra song

Crystal was fine, though not my favorite from her. At least she didn't oversing the song. The song she did, "Summer Wind," is one of the best of many great Sinatra songs.

Michael is not in Luther Vandross's league, IMO, but he's a good singer and was the best of the night.

Have to agree that Casey used his vibrato a bit much. He seemed uncomfortable. I think he might be leaving tonight, unfortunately.

Still can't believe Siobhan is out. Oh well, I'm sure I'll be buying her CD.

Edited on Fri Apr-30-10 10:14 AM by Tommy_Carcetti
Most things aren't really worth the cost, but I have to say buying HBO for its original programming is totally worth it. And I love how it's one great series after another. For example, it was Big Love, and when that ended, it was The Pacific. After The Pacific got started, then Treme started. After The Pacific and Treme ends, it's on to True Blood. After True Blood, it's Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's just one excellent series after another. I love it.
