My bag of onions tells me there's another Shrek sequel out, or out soon

I loved the first two, and the third one was acceptable, but in spite of a surprisingly good job by young Mr. Timberlake, there was a very strong sense of scraping the bottom of the barrel. It's hard for me to imagine a fourth one being any good, though I'll be happy if they somehow manage to pull it off. I doubt I'll go unless reviews are unanimously positive. Your thoughts?

1. I liked the first one, and the second was merely OK.

The third was awful, IMO. The franchise has been mined out. I do not look forward to the new Shrek.

Seriously, the Vidalia onion sack had a Shrek 4 ad all over it (as in "Ogres are like onions").

9. My little 19 month old is obsessed with Shrek.

Obsessed. It could be worse. It could be Barney. So I am happy that she loves Shrek so much. I wish she were a little older so we could take her to the movie when it is released.

10. The Shrek musical will be rolling into town this fall.

I imagine all the shows will be sold out and the theater filled with happy munchkins every night.
