the border Scots from the eastern US also came from a herding culture and had some rough stock techniques that also flow into rodeo.

I knew a little about Charro, but only recently (15 years) saw a Chihuahuan Jaripeo - took me a while to figure out what the ropers were doing. Fun chaos!

7. they were chasing those corriente cattle that got loose from the Spanish
