Cat vibes needed, please!

I do cat rescue, and lately, our rescue has been hit hard with illness. We've lost several recently to illnesses that were incurable, etc. It's been a rough time for us, but we have to simply keep moving forward to be able to help the next one that needs it.

And today, yet another one seems to be ailing. A pretty little, young girl with bright eyes and a bushy tail - shy and timid, but with a big, big heart.

She goes to the vet for examination tomorrow. Her symptoms are generalized - lack of appetite, weight loss, etc. She could have something treatable, or she could have something deadly. She doesn't look good.

It seems that lately, the odds have been stacked against us, and I'm hoping that tomorrow will be the turning point. When instead of hearing "there's no hope", we will hear "this is something we can fix". And if it is fixable for a reasonable degree of quality life for her, we WILL fix it!

Please, if you feel you can, send us some good vibes. We could really use them. Thanks in advance.

This sounds sadly like a virus that went through the local animal shelter last year. Luckily, they were able to get a handle on things. I hope all it takes is some medicine and a lot TLC. Good luck.

As best the vets have been able to tell, so far, these are all unrelated illnesses, but believe me when I say that we've all been racking our brains trying to figure out if there is a common denominator.

Some of it comes from the fact that they come to us in bad shape to begin with.
