1. Unless you have to work all weekend,
which I do.

12 hours on Saturday and 13 on Sunday. Tomorrow is short, I only have to do 10.

Also, I'm sorry about your day. It'll get better.

2. well, let's see...
our furnace started belching smoke throughout the house...

the guy was at least an hour late showing up to look at it...

much of the internal workings are fried and need to be replaced (almost wonder if he'd be better off replacing it, but, whatever)...

the pipes going from the furnace to the chimney are corroded and he suspects they might be blocked, so we have to replace those...

AND when we had our water heater replaced through our home warranty co. last year, the local company that did the work didn't bother to mention that the pipes aren't at the correct incline...

AND the pipe going from the water heater to the chimney, in addition to not being at a sufficient slope, isn't venting properly.

I don't expect the warranty co. will give a crap.

I'm fine with replacing the pipes, no big deal, but I don't see how to fix the incline issue - and most likely, our chimney is going to need to be cleaned - sounds like it's a mess and that's causing problems.

10. Me too. Someone said it was because "mercury is in retrograde" whatever the heck
that means. I haven't had a vacation since 2000 and I may well lose my mind...if I haven't already.

11. Yeah I'm slowly losing it too.
I took two weeks to go to Europe last year, then I went back to Detroit in September to visit the group I went to Europe with, and since then I have had literally one day off. It's driving me fucking nuts. *heads to Southwest website*

7. Nope. Try month
Things were going so bad outside of work that my boss decided to do something really nice for me. She is sending me to a motivational seminar where some of the guest speakers are Steve Forbes, Rudy Guilianni, and Sarah Palin.

...rear air system. They will clean out the expansion valve, but the rear air lines and the evaporator are going to have to be replaced.

...hey, it's only money...hundereds and hundereds of dollars of money. I'm like my own damn stimulus plan.
