Who here practices martial arts?

If you do, what style(s) do you practice and for how long?

I've practiced Shotokan karate for 4 or 5 years.

1. I used to practice Tao Chi Chuan, an internal art, when I was much younger.

There was a kwoon not far from where I lived then.

I've let myself go in every imaginable way since then, but at least for a while, I was a rock.

3. I don't, but my wife and three daughters are all 2nd degree black in Tang Soo Do

The girls all started when they were 3 1/2 to 4. They're 15 and up now. My wife just tested for 3rd degree black. There are 7 tests between 2nd and 3rd degree (and it goes up from there). It takes 12 years to move between 8th and 9th degree (the highest).

10. Nope, marital arts only. :^) Husband doesn't do martial arts, but does love Kung-fu movies. I know

he wishes he could do that stuff. It's pretty amazing!
