I am having insomnia and watching SATC reruns on TBS, because nothing is on.

All her mannerisms on this show are infuriatingly affected in a little girl, coy-faced, wide-eyed, self-conscious way that really drives me up the wall, especially when exhibited by a 40 year old woman.

1. Little girl affectations in grown women drive me up a wall.
She does it in her commercials, too. I am guessing it is her default.

I also hate that Claritin commercial where the woman skips through the field and talks in a baby voice about her indoor and outdoor allergies.

3. SJP was INCREDIBLE as the epitome of...
.
...bubble-headed California girls as the bouncy, spinny,
high-colonic first date midlife crisis SanDeE* for Steve
Martin in my FAVORITE movie of his (and one of my favorite
comedies of all time) -- "L.A. Story".
.
I can not recommend this film highly enough.
.
His ultimate love interest is his wife IRL.
.
Other than that movie, I've not been impressed by any of
her "work".

4. Didn't she play essential the same role in First Wives' Club?
Eh.

The only thing I liked about SATC was Miranda's realist witticisms. Until she got pregnant, had the baby, married the dad, and moved to Brooklyn. Bleh.
