In all seriousness, I see parallels between Lost and the Sid and Marty Kroft kids show Land of the Lost. I swear to God it looked like Desmond was about to jump in the very hole where the Sleestak god dwelt. Fortunately, it proved much shallower. (Although I half-expected sleestak to pop out the whole time he or Jack were in that cave.
There is a disaster. check They are stranded. check They can't get back due to some magical limitations. check There is weird, abandoned technology that can be used to change things. check There is an advanced sleestak named Enik who is sometimes helpful, sometimes treacherous. Ben
