Has Toyota fixed the sudden acceleration problem?
I am looking to purchase a Toyota, but can't seem to find whether or not these problems have been resolved or not. All the Google searches I do come up with articles a few months old. You would think it would have something more recent?

I haven't heard much about this story in the news lately, either.

1. I suspect they haven't.
I think there would have been a quite an uproar if they had...

They are still very good cars. But if you're that worried, I would look at Honda instead.

2. Yeah.
I have an old Camry, and it's lasted incredibly well through the years. I'm not really worried about the acceleration problem, but of course, I'd rather hear that it's been fixed. It's strange that I haven't heard ANY news. You would think you would hear a snippet hear and there if there are still ongoing problems.

3. Pfffffttt (cough) (ahem)

They're STILL trying to claim it isn't a computer problem because they can't figure out the fucking software problem. They probably outsourced it to India and none of the original programmers still work at the company that wrote the fucked-up code.
