3. Caffeine of some sort is an absolute must
I'm a night owl by nature, so I need something-coffee, tea, Diet Coke, whatever-to get me started.

4. Had to quit coffee because my blood pressure was through the roof
Have to settle for tea now. Probably healthier all around with the anti-oxidants and all that.

Hard to believe I used to slam down about 2 quarts of coffee in the morning (but that was when I was a lot younger, and usually as a recovery method from partying way too late the previous night)

6. I can't really vote in this one. Since every morning starts with coffee, I don't
know how I would react to a morning without coffee. I love the taste of it and most days I drink it all day long. I don't get the jitters from drinking too much, I've never noticed a headache if I didn't have my coffee and it doesn't keep me awake at night even if I have my last cup just before bedtime.

13. I start the day with coffee, but it has to be good-tasting coffee
My current favorites are Peace Coffee French Roast, Caribou Obsidian blend, and, when I can find it in Minneapolis, Peet's Garuda blend.

16. A couple of years ago, I was on vacation and had trouble "getting going"
That was until the 4th day, when I had my first cup of coffee.

Problem solved.

17. That's about the only time
I do drink it. Love the smell when the hubs is grinding it, but too much caffeine makes me hyper-cranky and I'm edgy enough as it is. ;)

24. Yep. Drink it all day long, too.
What's weird is that I have no trouble going to sleep even if I have an after-dinner espresso late in the evening.

But give me a cup of real, home-made cocoa and I'm at a five-foot hover above the bed all night long, eyes as big as saucers.
