3. We have a grocery here called AJs that sells thick cut, applewood smoked bacon.
I just made BLTs this past week with that bacon. It's the best I've ever had anywhere. Far from health food but sometimes ya just have to indulge and enjoy every single bite! :9

8. Definitely gotta have that green stuff on 'em
Avocados! And the "good fat" in the avocados offsets some of the guilt over the bacon.

17. 'Cados could conceivably replace the evil mayo
thus making the "BALT" actually edible!!

19. Sure, with avocados, you don't need the mayo
You don't even need the lettuce. I usually just make BAT sandwiches

9. Me like BLT cheeseburgers.
Mmmmmmm. Good. Or make pizza with bacon, tomatoes and a mixture of cheddar and mozzarella; top with shredded lettuce after baking and a dollop of sour cream. Mmmmmm, again.

12. Just don't use Miracle Whip instead of mayonnaise.
I can't think of a more heinous way to ruin a good BLT.

13. Only a masochistic douchebag would ruin any sandwich with Miracle Whip
that stuff is just plain nasty :puke:

16. Whether you're a vegehegian or not, the Morning Star Farms breakfast strips make for a quick BLT.
Less than 2 minutes in the nuke-ya-wave and you've got it - no mess. On a BLT, you really can't tell anyway, unless the tomatoes suck.
