1. WTF? A Bat-SUV?
Edited on Wed Mar-31-04 05:25 AM by mouse7
Oh fer Gawd's sake. It looks like shit.

It's a ludicrous borderline tricycle design. It looks like it would scrape the sides of the car cornering too sharply. The center of gravity is all screwed up. And what goddamn good are knobby tires on the back like that on a car that is so low to the ground. It cannot go off-road or the car will hang up and beach on the first obstacle it tries to go over.

In other works, it's fucking ridiculous. It makes no sense. It looks like a Batmobile designed by George W. Bush.

2. If I were fighting crime, I'd prefer this...
...to the ridiculous shit that West, Keaton, Kilmer, and Clooney had to "drive". This looks functional. :D

Besides, it's two pictures on a friggin website. I have a feeling you'll change your tune once you see it on the silver screen. Calm down.

3. Heck in The Dark Knight...
...by Frank Miller things have gotten so bad in Gotham; the bat-mobile is a HUGE tank like vehicle. So this isn't so crazy. :)

Anyhow I believe that bat-mobile in this movie is derived from some military vehicle made by Wayne Industry. Which DOES make sense.

4. Fighting crime offroad?
The only time I saw the Batmobile in the movies was in city scenes.

I doubt there would be much use for that kind of traction there, unless the potholes were really that bad.

5. I, for one, think it looks cool
A hell of a lot better than that giant turd of a vehicle from the Burton/Schumacher series.

This looks like it can kick some serious ass.

6. I for two!
But I do agree with the 'not needing that kind of traction in the city' comment.

7. Bruce Timm designed the best Batmobile
on the Animated Batshow, sleek, deco, the bastard spaceship offspring of an A.M. Callendre poster.

But...

This doesn't look bad, just different. Notice the bat logo, a far cry from the Burton/Schumacher era. This bodes well that the new team is going for something more Miller-ish. This looks a lot like the tank in DKR.

Fingers crossed.

8. I Like It
A "one-man" Hummer although fenders on the front would cut down on the dirt and mud on the windshield.
