LBN Matcom is caught after crossing a road.
Matcom you look so so so cute.



Charlie, a six-week-old otter pup, snacks on cut fish Tuesday at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium on Island Estates in Clearwater.

Orphan otter wanders across road to rescue

PALM HARBOR - No one is sure why this baby otter crossed the road, but people are glad he did.

Last week the 3-pound orphan was dawdling across Alderman Road near Alt. U.S. 19 when businessman Gary Meade spotted him.

Meade donned long rubber gloves, caught the otter and took it to a nearby pond next to the law firm of Florin, Roebig & Walker.
