Does Colin Quinn piss you off?

He does me, even though I actually like the show sometimes.

pisses me off, you should know if you watch the show reguraly, he is on every episode(it appears to me that he is).

I don't mind Colin, he doesn't exactly make me roll on the floor, but I've heard more than one jab at repubes during his SNL Weekend Update days

Oh come on. Even if you have some proof that he is a republican you really can't believe that statement do you?

Watch any SNL rerun from the era when he was doing the news and you can find plenty of shots at repugs. Even on this current show he more plays devils advocate.

Jesus, that man knows how to abuse panel shows. He ran the floor the entire episode. I kept on waiting for someone to tell him to stop doing his act.

But he's occasionally funny. He's ignorant, too. The other day, he talked about FDR dropping the bomb on Hiroshima. Somebody might want to let him know that FDR was dead at the time.

He makes quite a few errors.

Than some of the Black people on the show. Why are you even calling him a racist, because he doesn't spout out PC bullshit that all black people are saints. If he were such a racist why would all the African American comics come back to his show? He's a blue collar city guy who probably has something against anyone who isn't Irish - he may shit on some of the habits of black people (like they shit on white people) but he is probably more likely to sit and have a beer with them than most of the white people on this site.
I'm sorry, I just get annoyed when people throw around the word racist so freely.

That being said, that FDR quip was a meethead blunder. Kind of like when Bill Maher (BA in English from Cornell) says the "word" irregardless. Makes me wanna wretch.

His show is horrible. And he never has been funny.

He wasn't funny on SNL and he's not funny on his own show.

I can tell you that Colin Quinn is about the most unfunny comedian out there who's semi-famous.

I was watching the Comedy Central roast of that Irish comedian who smokes a lot (Dennis Leary, I think) and he was retchedly awful.

He just stood there and read from a piece of paper, not even making eye contact with the audience.

And his jokes were lame.

And he also nearly barfed on me one night when I went to his comedy club in Manhattan and I was walking in the bathroom and he was stumbline out after doing a line of coke or whatever he was doing in there.

It amazes me that some of the comedians will actually go on television and showcase their ignorance. They are usually ill equiped to discuss the issues of which are generally stupid anyway. But then again, they aren't really any worse than the pundits.

I like Colin.
