1. I used to hang out with Tom, their drummer, met him in Piper's Alley

a long time ago 1966 or 1967.
Great band, my favorite tune of theirs is "Bad Little Woman".

Van Morrison's vocals on that tune are still among the most sexually charged that I've ever heard. The way he sang those lyrics made it quite obvious that Gloria wasn't just going up to his room for a chat! }(

11. Saw Them In Savannah Georgia In 1967

at a concert with the Seeds and Question Mark and the Mysterians. I liked their tune "Girl I'm Gonna Make You Mine". But I voted for Them as the best version of Gloria.
