3. Did you ever see that priceless tv show about the gangster who ruined a woman's church hat?

It was one of David Simon's shows..The Corner or The Wire or Homicide...
a local drug dealer accidentally damages one of the elderly black women's church hats
AND
is forced, by community pressure and remorse, in replacing it.
The whole plot line was so marvelous, I was in stitches. It was so real!
( as are many of David Simon's stories)

13. SOmeone mentioned Atlanta churches and the hats women there wear.

And then someone posted a link to a site that sells "fancy" hats for church etc.. All the models in the catalog were black women and the hats were truly fantastic.
