2. Other brands have been making the stuff for a long time.
Actually, I think horseradish is what I like best about mustard.

3. Homade horseradish sauce:
Edited on Sun May-01-11 06:29 PM by trof
About equal parts (to taste) of mayo and sour cream.
Then LOAD it up with mucho horseradish.
Great on any meat.

Bonus points and TASTE if you grate FRESH horseradish.
Find a 'crisp' firm one.
If it's kinda 'bendy' it's old and has lost a lot of kick.

4. Truly French!
When I go to Paris, I always get a baguette, veggies, amazing cheese and some horseradish mustard to make sandwiches. Tasty and cheap! With the Euro @ $1.44, who can afford to eat in restaurants over there????

5. In my meatloaf, that's where it's been.
Mixed in with Lamb, Pork, Beef, Turkey, sautee'd mushrooms, onions, diced garlic, ginger, celery, diced tomatoes and the family special herb mix, shredded parmesan and sourdough bread crumbs. Oh, and yeah, just a dash of worschester sauce.

6. I just found it - but the house brand for our local grocery chain
They call it "deli mustard". It's great on corned beef, and not bad on tuna fish sandwiches.

8. Horseradish is the best
Bubbie's is good - not a lot of extra stuff.
