It's a flac file, 3K bitrate, ripped from virgin vinyl

search out Gil Evans' "Out of the Cool." IMO perhaps the best big-band jazz record ever. Stunning both musically and sonically. The band is IN your living room, wall-to-wall. I found my near-mint (and now impossible to find) original Impulse LP for $10 about 10-12 years ago, but there are excellent reissues still available. Evans, of course, arranged and conducted Miles' "Sketches" and "Porgy & Bess" LPs and was one of the great unsung geniuses of jazz.
