A thunderstorm in the next few minutes. It's getting dark and cloudy, and I hear thunder in the distance.

What do you think?

1. I went outside and sniffed. It doesn't smell like rain to me

2. Well, I was right.

A storm just moved through the area, and it was a doozy. I even had to close my bedroom windows, which I almost never have to do because they face east and are under a four-foot overhang. I have just moved into the bathroom with my cats because it just came over the weather channel that we have a tornado warning. I am posting on my blackberry. :scared:

7. That's why I chose it.
The warning has expired for the immediate area. It has moved to the southeast. But that was a bad one!

3. Completely wrong. Blue skies and temps in the 60s
However, to make up to all those readers who must be deeply disappointed in Brigid's erroneous maunderings, I offer this patented Petronius Correcto-ForecastTM: it will get dark in about two hours. Make all necessary preparations!

9. The storm has passed to the southeast.
It kind of caught me off-guard because we don't have storm sirens around here, and this just looked like an ordinary thunderstorm coming in.

10. Glad to hear it. No damage, I hope?
Keep an eye open, in case it had siblings!

8. Your weather eye is spot on. It's been so dark, I've had all my lights on all day. Really.

And it's still not lighting the place up enough.

:hi:
