I somehow deleted the 'explorer' icon off my desktop. Any quick way I can get it back
on there? Where do I look for explorer in the bowls of my computer? Helip!!!

1. Look in your Recycle Bin
Hopefully it's still there. Click on the icon and from the top menu, click RESTORE

Glad it worked out for you.

You shoulda seen me here the day I deleted my Recycle Bin. (Vista. Delete is right near Empty. Genius design.)

I was all, "What the...? Oh NOOOO!"

4. I was lucky I asked tonight & before the recycle bin would erase it. I found some other way of
logging on that takes extra steps. Yes, what a relief! LOL!

5. For future reference
(and this works for any other program you want on the desktop) a copy can be found in the "Programs" list under the "Start" menu. Then with a "right-click drag" drop it to the desktop, and you'll get the pop-up question "Copy here / Move here / Cancel" and choose one :)
