CONFESS!!!! What's a part of your morning routine?
Some of my morning routine include:

* Reading Funky Winkerbean, Doonesbury, Mutts and Jumpstart comic strips online
* Reading the Headlines, Opinion Page and Dear Abby from the Wilmington News Journal
* Checking the Headlines of DU
* Find out what the $3.99 album of the day is at Amazon.com (buy it if it's something good).
* And at least 10 minutes of snuggle time, usually with Abbott, while watching a rerun of "Saved by the Bell" on TBS

What do you like to do in the mornings?

2. Reading the paper (comics first) while taking a dump.
When I get downstairs, I check CNN to see if the poll has changed (then close it), read a bunch of comics on Yahoo, check Crooks & Liars, and then spend way too much time on DU.

Then b*tch and groan for an hour while getting ready to go to work.

15. I feel so inadequate
Hi,
Wow, you people are busy in the morning. For me shower, brush teeth, dress, grab lunch from fridge and walk to the bus stop to work. 12 minutes is my speed time when rushed.

Peace

19. Get up earlier!
I used to have a commute. After transfering to a local office, I kept getting up early, but spend the extra time browsing the web and easing into the day.

17. Oatmeal, coffee, email, and genealogy
My schedule is supposed to be to work on family research while I am drinking my coffee, then work on needlework. I don't want the coffee around the needlework - that is why I wait. Too often recently, I have gotten fully involved in the genealogy and haven't gotten enough progress done on my current embroidery projects. Insomnia with irregular sleeping and waking times is no help at all.

18. Snuggle time here too
Our alarm clock has a 7-minute snooze, so we set it for 14 minutes before we have to get out of bed. We've had daily snuggles for nearly 30 years.
