3. Here's my best AARP story
My sister has a gang of friends we call the Sex and the City Group. They are all late-40s, divorced or single, drop-dead gorgeous, dressed to the nines, etc. Well, one of them was dating a jerkwad CEO in his late 50s. One night, when the gang was at a local club, CEO Douchebag sends her a text saying he's breaking up with her because "she's too old for him." Not two minutes later, she gets a spam text asking her to join AARP. Not really the best time for her to get that AARP offer.

7. I got those when I was in my 30s.
I got onto some list they bought. Then, I didn't hear from them until I was a few months short of 50.

8. LOL! I swear people would just as soon have the Grim Reaper show up at the door.
I think that's the sound you make when that letter shows up..."AARP!"

12. I get those, and I'm in my thirties
If anything, I find them disappointing; if they'd let me join now, I would be flashing that card for discounts like a mofo...

14. My dad and I have the same first and last names.
He's 80, and I'll be 50 before the end of the 5-month rapture.

For all I know, I'm getting AARP lit and I just don't realize it!
