1. Very cool. Could use new tires though. Make a deal
with that in mind.

5. Like this?
Somehow, the shape is reminiscent.

To me, anyway.

24. Nissan
makes the most appealing vehicles to me, aesthetically, than any automaker. That's so sexy I'd even drive it, and I am a committed convertible lover.

7. Yes, you can move into it as soon as you get it licensed. But they can be hard to fuel and fix...

10. Depends if you have shop space and tools
Body, trim, and glass look all there. Repower with a late model drivetrain* (EFI, overdrive transmission) and update the suspension and brakes What a land yacht......

*Late model pickups and Crown Vics make great "donor cars"

13. No, no...
H2 Hummers make the best donor cars for that--with a double benefit: it gets that car back on the road, and gets a Hummer OFF.

15. Wrong drivetrain, crappy suspension
I feel your pain - H2's and H3's are very much posers; off- roaders for the 'burbs. If you put an old Willys utility body on top of their chassis, the increase in performance and coolfactor would be astounding!

19. I should probably add a bit
The "donors" I as referring to are rear-wheel-drive, full frame vehicles of similar weight. The street rod guys have figured out a lot of this adaptation stuff - check out Painless Wiring and similar companies, who make wiring kits designed to run EFI engines and electronically controlled transmissions at full function, as well as rewiring the car to modern standards. Vintage Air does very nice HVAC units for retrofits, using the AC compressor already on the engine. Interior stuff is available in the restoration aftermarket - and the 19-way leather, heated massage seat from a "donor" may be a simple bolt-in.

Sa-weet....

17. I just happened to see it along side the road. It's about 25 minutes from where
I am staying in Washington State. I did go in and ask the property owners if it was their's and if it actually ran. The innards would need to be gutted, and I assume there would be major work required elsewhere on it. I may drive up next week and just see if it actually runs and what is going on with it.

Not often that you see a car like that in its "original" state.

23. Depends on the price. And how much money you want to put into it.
And then, after you do, it will be worth about 1/2 of what you have into it. That's the general rule with the old ones like that.
But if you want it, and want to keep it, there you go.
