the original electric vehicle

I found these pictures of our department's early motorized apparatus while helping out with a book on the department's history. It seems we had an early electric pumper and a ladder truck. The aerial ladder was a horse drawn unit attached to an electric tractor. Neither one was capable of any great speed.
