Did anyone watch the series finale of Smallville? (May contain spoilers)
What did you think of it?

For me it started out good but then quickly went downhill. Who knew it was going to be so easy to defeat Darkseid, someone who is unto a god? And Tess? I guess I can understand it, but still thought it unnecessary to do.

1. Heh...no one watched it?
I think I might have been better off skipping it, too. Quite the letdown after 10 years.

3. Erm...no
Superman when he was a young man in his adopted hometown.

Though Farmville might work, too, since they did live on a farm.

Why didn't you warn me in advance so I could have skipped it, too? :)

6. Honestly, I didn't even know the show was still on.
I watched the first few seasons, but then just got bored with it. Particularly after they brought Lois Lane on board. Always thought Chloe was way hotter.

7. I like Lois better than Lana...
She was always soooo meh. (Her last appearance was OK, though.)

Another thing that was disappointing was that they didn't have Sam Jones III back as Pete Ross for the finale.

8. So did he ever put the suit on?
Or did they cop out on that?

I remember one episode where Clark got a flash vision of his future, and all you saw was a red cape traveling very, very fast. THAT was cool.

9. Complete cop-out...
It was all CGI. Apparently the suit they kept showing was made for Brandon Routh in the Superman Returns movie.

for conspiring to distribute oxycodone pills.

'Smallville' actor Sam Jones III arrested in conspiracy to distribute over 10,000 oxycodone pills
BY CRISTINA EVERETT

...snip...

According to court documents, the actor and several others devised a plan to purchase and distribute more than 10,000 oxycodone pills.

Jones was reportedly taken into custody by DEA agents who described him as the "Hollywood connection" to the plot.

The 26-year-old actor has been charged with conspiracy to possess illegal drugs with the intent to distribute. If convicted, Jones faces up to 20 years in federal prison.

He pleaded guilty last December and is scheduled to be sentenced next month.

15. You should have stuck with it because once the show shifted out of
Smallville and into Metropolis, it got pretty good.

Hey I grew up learning how to read in the silver age of comic books and enjoyed that they went back to bring all sorts of the DC mythology into the show. Of course there was no Batman but the Green Arrow made a great side kick for Clark.

They brought in almost everyone still alive that was associated with the Superman movie and even Lois and Clark. Both of whom played cameo's in the show. It was very cool to a grown up comic book geek like me.

11. Cheese factor was in high gear.
We quit watching it a few years back, but tuned in to see the end. Too many unresolved things I thought.

12. I regret to say that I did watch it
you'ld think after 10 years i would have learned the ratio of suck to good in that show is like 90/10. Ugh. We call it 9021Smallville cause it's so cheesy.

As usual - finale sucked as it does every year. NEVER really got to see him in the suit for more than half a second. The whole first hour could have been cut. They must have offered Michael Rossenbaum a shitton of money to come back and play Lex for like 20 minutes - what a waste. Darkseid - another HUGE letdown just like Doomsday.

Glad this show is finally over. I guarantee I will NOT be watching the re-runs.

13. I watched it, and thought it was good.
However, given that, they dragged the entire series out far too long. The whole series should have run 5 years, max. I quit watching a few years ago because the whole thing had turned into one giant tease. No tights, no flight, my ass.
