The disappointed final lines from The End of the World sketch, one my favorites from my all time favorite, the British comedy stage classic, Beyond the Fringe. Starring Peter Cook, Dudley Moore, Jonathan Miller and Alan Bennett. I was lucky enough to see it on Broadway and very nearly fell out of my seat laughing. (No, really, and yes, I'm VERY old...)
Every time I read about the Rapture this weekend, I giggle about it all over again...
