Rain in PA
We've had 7 days of sun this year and cold temps and rain. This sucks

1. Good grief!
I spend all winter and early spring LONGING for summer, warmth and light, so I truly sympathize.

I'd send you a slice of our sunlight if I could, bbinacan.

2. Thank you!
Temps here are 10-15 degrees below average. And did I mention the rain?

I'm so sorry you're nearly swimming. I truly, truly sympathize.

5. this has been the longest cold season of my life
Last August was surprisingly mild followed by a long and cold autumn then followed by a long cold winter further followed by a chilly spring.

And a POX on all this damn rain!!! I had JUST finished leveling my yard with nearly four dozen bags of topsoil and planted grass seed so I could finally have real actual GRASS in my yard instead of the "varied array of other strange green stuff" and the flood waters have washed away probably close to a quarter of my store bought dirt!

On the plus side though, the grass seeds are liking the rain (the ones that didn't get washed away anyhow) and for the first time in my life something green that I planted or cared for is actually doing what it's supposed to do despite my Any-Color-But-Green Thumb.

With all this constant rain the mosquitoes and pollen will be raging this summer.

6. The Harrisburg area is supposed to have sun and be in the 80's both Sat and Sun.
But yeah, it has been raining like hell for weeks. The soil is too damp to put in the potatoes. They would just rot. Maybe by Sunday it will have dried out enough to get them in.
