thought somebody was calling me and absolute zero when they posted "lOl!" to a joke I told. LOL! I almost said to them "now that was uncalled for".

1. I thought LOL meant 'log off line'...
I was devastated the first time someone put lol next to one of my game board responses.

14. I thought it meant 'lots of luck'.
In a mean way, as in "Yeah. Good luck with that."

11. OMG, this is literally fall-on-the-floor funny.
I had forgotten about it until now. That recipe has been attributed to so many stores!

4. Confessed to loving Olive Garden's house salad and breadsticks.
Won't make that mistake again.

18. The salad is great.
Or it was the last time I ate there (which was years ago). I can't say the same for the breadsticks.

The Olive Garden once had large comfortable chairs with casters. These were replaced by small hard wooden chairs. That's why I don't eat there anymore.

The food at the Olive Garden is okay IMHO, but it should not be confused with Italian food.

10. Subscribing was easy.
Getting rid of those sorry, sloppy-second, sheet-sucking bastards was a saga I don't care to repeat. They hit my account repeatedly on AUTO draft over a period of a couple years.

12. The only way I could get them to stop charging me was to cancel my existing credit card and...
have my bank reissue it.

They are thieves.

8. It's been fifteen years since I went online
:o I can't remember my mistakes! ;)

I do know that people online haven't changed much. No one knows how to teach others when they are confused about a technique or need info. Back then the standard non-answer was "It's just a right-click." Reply: Okay, where do I right-click, and then what? Answer: *crickets*

Now, it's "Just google it!" or "Google is your friend." No one wants to, you know, share the information they've learned over the years.

Yeah, I'm an Internet Cynic :P
