What kind of couch is this / how much should I sell it for?
OK folks, my old tenant up and left this couch behind. I am looking to make some $$$ off it but want to know what kind/style couch it is and how much it may be worth. I need to say something other than "uncomfortable" in the ad. :D It's the original upholstry and in great shape -- it just needs good cleaning.

Thanks!

1. 1930s moderne.
Not worth much, I don't think. The streamline stuff, what people often call "deco" is the very desirable stuff. This couch is an interesting piece but not dramatic or rare in it's style. I'd put it on CL for 250 and see what happens.

5. RetroLounge would be helpful here, but I have not seen him in a while.

3. I wouldn't buy it because...
There's an epidemic of bedbugs going around, and once they're in your house, you might as well burn it down.

4. Best to do google searches for Art Deco sofas/chesterfeilds or early 20th century sofas to
find the maker and then find out what it might be worth. If you can't find out who manufactured it, you can find similiar sofas dealers are selling and then see what they are charging.
