Well, they confirmed it - a tornado touched down in Mechanicsburg last night.

That's just west of Camp Hill, PA and not far from here. We got some nasty ass wind and rain and it took out one of our trees, as well as a few tiles from our recently replaced roof. I need to call about that. Another tornado hit Harrisburg.

They must have been doing something with the power lines because they cut it off three times about an hour ago. The UPS units were screaming (and we've got a dozen or so of them throughout the house). I shut down the main server because it is a battery hog and I had no idea how long the power would be off. Fortunately it wasn't all that long and we're back to normal operating status.

Last year we broke down near Mechanicsville with 2 women and a teen. I was following them in my vehicle when all hell broke loose near a left exit. I think it was at the next right exit where we had to decide where to take the car that broke down.

Mechanicville is NO place to find a mechanic on a Saturday night. :rofl:
