CBS Has New Drama This Fall, "Person of Interest"

It's about a billionaire and an ex-CIA agent fighting crime in NYC. This goes along with their other drama, "Unforgettable", about a crime fighting cop that can remember every detail of her life.

Yes, another crime fighting drama out of CBS to go along with:

CSI
CSI Miami
CSI New York
NCIS
NCIS Los Angeles
The Mentalist
Criminal Minds
Blue Bloods
Hawaii 5-0

CBS' motto: We never take a chance with our dramas.

1. I like to think of it as the Jesus and Ben show.

CBS did run (most) of The Prisoner back in 1968. I think that may have been the last time they took a chance. I remember the 70's being populated with one after another of so-called "afflicted" private eyes.

There was an old one and a fat one and a blind one and a bald one with a lollipop fetish.

Barnaby Jones, Cannon, Longstreet, and Kojak respectively.

2. Seems to be a lot of shows on the air trying to glamourize the CIA lately.

CHAOS - also on CBS.
Covert Affairs - on the USA Network

and the most ridiculous of all would be Nikita - where the CIA are the "good guys" and a malevolent entity known as "Division" are the bad guys. Problem is that "Division" acts more like the REAL CIA.

The CIA was founded by the Bush Crime Family and their "former" Nazi pals, was rightfully condemned by Harry Truman as a "tool of Wall Street Banks" and has remained so to this day. It serves no legitimate purpose, and has NEVER operated in the interests of the American people.
