Gackt Camui (Japanese rock sensation) sounds a lot like David Bowie, and in fact was influenced by Bowie. I am not that much familiar with David Bowie, though have heard some of his music. Perhaps there are Bowie experts who can perhaps tell me if Gackt is similar and has a bit of Bowie style in him.

1. Close but Bowie has more angst and more emotional depth

There is a sense of loss and alienation with Bowie that I don't find here

9. If you go to Google Images...and Search for photos of Gackt

You would be amazed. By the way, in the anime movie Final Fantasy, He was the model for Cloud!

5. aahhh...I watched 'The Man Who Fell To Earth" last night and...

I am always in awe of the scene where Mary Lou (Candy Clark) picks up
Tommy (David Bowie) in her arms and literally carries him down a hallway
to a bedroom.

If you can carry Gackt down a hallway to a room, I'll give you both props for that. :)
