OK, I've had enough summer now ...
The heat wave is back with a vengeance. Last week we had heat indexes around 115 (humid here in the Ohio River valley). We caught a little break for a couple of days, but this week it's BAAAAAAACK. I'm ready for fall, for cooler weather, and for football.

That is all.

1. I hate the heat and I am always ready for fall and winter.
It can't come too soon for me.

2. we have only had about six days over 80 degrees here
And it rained and was chilly all of June. Yesterday I was wearing a fleecy jacket and socks and cords. So I hope we get SOME summer days. Today will be 80, then back into the cool and showery again.

Looks like the tomato crop is a failure again this year.

3. This whole week is supposed to be horrible.
Hot, super humid. My poor sweetie works outside, so I worry all day. No ac at home either.

5. Here in MA it has been terrible. The worst is yet to come.
Thursday and Friday 100 degrees and a very high humidity level.
I am thankful I have a room air conditioner. It is in my den, I will have to sleep on the couch. I have it set up mainly for my kitty but I think it is time for me to join her.

7. I have a room air conditioner in the guest bedroom.
I've already moved in. (I'm in NH, so I know what you're talking about). The problem with the room air conditioner is that I'm stuck in a room with only a television in it. No computer, no bathroom. The computer is set up in the sunporch, of all places, so I have to type and sweat
