Hammacher Schlemmer introduces a two-story inflatable cat!

NEW YORK, July 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuing its 163-year history of offering the Best, the Only and the Unexpected, Hammacher Schlemmer introduces The Two-Story Inflatable Black Cat, a nearly 21'-tall feline that towers over Halloween visitors.

The cat's underbelly is 9' above ground at the highest point, allowing trick-or-treaters to walk underneath, and each paw is the size of an armchair. The cat's head automatically sways side-to-side and it has illuminated, piercing red eyes, a 4 3/4'-wide fanged grin, and 9 3/4"-long claws.

"The Two-Story Inflatable Black Cat is, quite possibly, the largest Halloween decoration of its kind," explained Hammacher Schlemmer's General Manager, Fred Berns.

According to Mr. Berns, The Two-Story Inflatable Black is easy to set up, despite its gargantuan size.

"All the customer has to do is plug in the integrated fan and it inflates the display in four minutes. When Halloween is over, it folds to less than two square feet for convenient storage."

The feline's hindquarters and tail are elevated above its head as if he's about to pounce on unsuspecting prey, while lights in the neck, body, and tail produce an eerie, ominous glow.

7. I must own this.
Not even debatable. Even if they aren't available until the latter half of August. Don't care.

About a month or so back someone put up a similar post for an Alien Lamp, levitating a cow into a flying saucer. Bought one as a gag gift for a friend who, as part of her job, used to have to deal with those UFO lawsuits against Uncle Sam. It was a Huge Hit. Didn't want one for myself, but a huge hit.

This, however, is a quantum leap beyond that one. It will look great in my front yard. Might even be tempted to stay home on Halloween and give out stuff to the local rugrat population.

10. That is actually pretty cool
and only $349.95. They also have a 12-foot inflatable Headless Horseman and 10-foot Macbeth's Witches.

I usually don't decorate for Halloween, but I feel that if I put these out front, kids oughtta come to my door and give ME treats for doing so.

14. It would be cool at a IWW picket.
Beyond that it's about as useful as balls on a priest.
