3. I was in position to shoot robins when he flew up and complained I wasn't shooting him
I was minimum focal distance from him - a little under 3 feet - and he was complaining so much I took some photos just to make him happy. These hummers are not the least bit afraid of me; the hover inches from my face, sit on me and treat me like their attendant.

18. The ones here get in my face constantly
I read a piece once that said if they were the size of blackbirds, it wouldn't be safe to walk through the forest because they're SO aggressive!

I'm banging my head trying to figure out what 'dw i'n' means. The rest I know ... I think. (able to see?)

21. Dw i'n is a contraction of Rydw i'n
:) Or in the South "w i'n"

Dw i'n medru (gallu) ei gweld (see her/it).

Heh heh "limestone Welsh?" I've never heard that before.

22. Supposed to mean pidgin ... maybe it's a Midwestern immigrant thing?
Lots of Welsh where I'm from, including planned Welsh communities - my grandfather was born in Arvonia ... Kansas (his mother was born in Bala).

Which reminds me: the other day, as we were out, my husband spotted an unusual dog and asked me what it was; I told him it was a Welsh Corgi. He asked if the gravity is different in Wales, making everything shorter (the tallest member of my family is a towering 5'9").

23. lol
That's pretty funny. I once had a Welsh-speaking Welshman tell me that I was too tall to speak Welsh. I'm only 5'10" but he was 5'4" or 5'5".

Corgi by the way comes from cor (dwarf) ci (you know that one)
