Big emperor penguin, too. It stands like 3 feet high. Not a toy-- it's a real bird, taxidermied sometime during the last century. It used to be in our vertebrate museum, then it was in the department office for a while as a decoration, but one summer it disappeared. There was a brief flurry of emails about it--"OK, whoever has the big penguin, bring it back!"-- then it reappeared just as mysteriously. Now it's in my friend's office.

That's my story and I'm sticking with it.
