10. DFW area?
I head back there this week. As much as there is to like about Texas, I'm glad I won't be living there much longer.

I've done Arizona and Texas (24 years in Tx), and the heat is the one thing I never quite get used to!

12. In the Northwest we have had a strangely cool summer.
Usually we get a few days of 100+. But this year we haven't even hit 90. We've only been in the upper 80s maybe once or twice. Many days in the 70s, and some in the 60s.

So weird.

48. Depends on which part of Texas
I spent half a summer in El Paso, and the dry heat was almost tolerable. The nights cooled down most comfortably.

The other half of that summer was spent in Louisiana. The humidity was noticable.

Where in the world (or Texas) is Skittles?

:hi:

21. San Diego, Central/Costal (downtown to the 15) -
73-76-76-78-77-76-76
Partly cloudy/foggy in the morning and evenings. Chance of monsoonal sprinkles in the early mornings if moisture comes up from Mexico.
Of course, the further you go inland, the warmer it gets.

Damn, this is SanFran weather for this time of year...
(Of course, our "hot months" have been inching along from early July - mid October to late August - early November over the past 25 years I've lived here)

24. Damn it Skittles!
I was all set to complain because the weather here in Seattle hasn't hardly hit summer yet. Today is overcast (sky is completely whitish/gray) and the temps are rarely above 65. However based on what you and most of the rest of the nation are going through, I'm liking it just fine! :bounce:

29. I can beat that - 105 as I type, then 108 110 110 109 109 108 108 107 107!
OKC area. (was 107 when I tried to post this 2 hours ago)

Per weather.com, today is the 33rd day in a row w/ temp 100 degrees or above, 40th in a row at 95 or above, and 61+?? at 90 or above (weather.com only shows temperature data for this month and the previous month).

So very, very sick of this! And we're just on the first day of August. :-(

42. I had a roofing job in Texas one summer about 30 years ago. The high was 115+ every day
for about 45 days in a row. I got dropped off at the company while it was still dark; we were on our job site at the crack of dawn every day; and we knocked off by 2:00 or 2:30 PM. Then I got a ride part way home and walked back the remaining 3 or 4 miles. Around 4:30 or 5:00, I'd finally get home and take a nice ice cold shower, to get rid of the sweat and dust and roofing compound. Then, dinner

I was gonna say pfft! 108! big deal! -- but honestly I think I enjoyed the AC from the time I got home in the afternoon until I left for work the next morning, and I'm not sure I could take it now
