I've been out for a week - Did I miss anything?

I just got back from a trip to the Blue Ridge/Great Smoky Mountains and Asheville, NC, with no internet access. It was wonderful. So - did I miss anything of any real significance?

Did they decide to keep those horrible new GD posting rules?

Did you see Chimney Rock? Or the Linville Caverns? Did you climb Mt. Mitchell, the tallest peak east of the Mississippi?
Did you buy pottery at the Folk Arts Center? Did you stay at the Montevista? Did you visit the Blue Ridge Assembly? Or have lunch at the Red Rocker?

Alos, we went to Clingman's Dome, The Great Smoky Mtns. Natl' Park, "The Mystery House at Mystery Hill", and spent two days bored to death in an awful Atlanta suburb called Buford, while our car was being fixed. It was a pretty nice trip, overall. The negative aspects have been detailed ad infinitum on a lousy crappy flame-war I started on GD.
