Anti-Bush in Northern Virginia??

While I'm working for Dean, I support all efforts to get rid of bush. And it occurred to me it would be great if there was a single site people could go to that would list ALL the anti-bush activities on a calendar, by location.

So if I wanted to see what was happening this weekend in Northern Virginia, or NYC, or Iowa City -- I could find rallies for any of the candidates, or tabling opportunities, or a meeting of Military Families Against Bush.

Does anybody know of such a site? It is way beyond my technical abilities. Maybe MOVEON could do something.

Two reasons I cant really though. I am gonna to be on vacation this weekend :) and you're looking for a Dean meetup? I cant help you with that, Kucinich supporter here. My family here, my grandparents probably wouldnt mind going except they arent supporting Dean.

why not suggest they go, just to get them energized. maybe they will decide to start up a DK group in the area.

Have you considered pushing to reform Virginia's presidential Electoral vote?

Of the 11 congressional districts in VA, Bush won in only 8 while Gore won the in other three - including the 11th District which includes Arlington. But, thanks to winner-take-all Bush won all 13 of Virginia's EC votes.

If VA had vote-by-congressional-district instead of winner-take-all Bush would have received only 268 electoral votes -- two short of 270, the majority needed to win -- instead of 271 which he did in fact receive.

Maine and Nebraska have vote-by-congressional-district; why shouldn't any other state? One would think that, after 2000, anyone who calls him/herself a Democrat would raise hell over this.
