March on Washington -- August 23rd
In just over two weeks there will be a march on washington to commemerate the march led by Dr. King 40 years ago. I remember living in a suburb of DC at the time, and my parents not wanting us to go to the march, because they were afraid of violence.

Anyway, it should be inspirational, and if you know anybody in the DC area who might want to attend, please let them know about it.

<http://www.marchonwashington.org/home.htm> This event is sponsored by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.

this is NOT the Dean Sleepless Summer event, which will happen after the march in nearby Falls Church VA.
