The Elections Assistance Commission Hearing is being held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 5th
Please email CSPAN at .... dceditor@c-span.org
To make sure that they cover this important Hearing, the EAC is set-up to oversee and produce guidelines for Electronic Voting Systems.
So far, we only know of Avi Ruben and Rebecca Mercuri testifying who are if favor of increased security and a paper record .
Dear Editor:
It's extremely important that this first and hopefully not last hearing of the newly formed EAC receive public scrutiny. It appears that it is stacked with those who do not know and understand the dangers involved in using electronic voting. I hope you at CSPAN will cover it and allow the public to phone in afterwards with opinions. I do not know a single person who is savvy in computer programming and supports this use of DREs in the voting process. And I know a lot of computer savvy people.
Please try to fit this hearing into your schedule. The public needs to know what is being said and by whom on the extremely critical matter. Our right to have our vote counted is at stake.
Thank you for considering this urgent matter.
Sincerely.
The EAC Hearing is being held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 5th at the:
EPA Headquarters 1200 Pennsylvania Ave., NW Ariel Rios North Building Room 3000, Rachel Carson Great Hall Washington, DC
