Events for Joe Hoeffel in Philadelphia

There are two very exciting fundraisers for Joe Hoeffel coming up in Philadelphia. The heat is on for the Senate race here in Pennsylvania, and we have a chance to oust Specter, battered and bruised from his squeaker of a win over primary challenger and right wing nut job, Pat Toomey. On Sunday May 23rd, in the evening, Governor HOWARD DEAN will make his first appearance in support of a U.S. Senate Candidate since ending his presidential campaign. The event will be held in Montgomery County and there is a minimum contribution of $200.

On June 18th in Philadelphia, an event with special guest, HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON will be held, likely at the Wyndham Hotel at noon. This will be a major donor event. I know most cannot afford the $500-$1000 level, but if you can please attend.

Joe Hoeffel represents our chance to help take back the Senate. God forbid Bush should eke out another stolen victory (can you say: voter roll purges in Florida). Think Supreme Court and decades of neocon oppression! The Senate will be the only brake on their fanaticism. Bush will not have to pretend to be an even marginal moderate without an election campaign looming and I doubt the country, or indeed the world, can survive another 4 years of the Bush Cabal intact.
